Wilmax was founded as a partnership between two professionals with different but complementary experiences, skill sets, and knowledge bases. In March 2002, cofounder John Mitchell, through his experience working with accounting firms and commercial and residential developers, recognized a growing need for affordable housing across Louisiana. John approached cofounder Grant Ethridge about forming a new construction company to accommodate this demand. Having worked in virtually every area of the construction business, Grant has brought a smart work ethic and thorough understanding of construction to the partnership. The connection has evolved into a highly respected construction business, completely built on relationships.
